My professional journey is defined by a deep fascination with the mechanics of recovery, explored through rigorous research, diverse clinical practice, and impactful community work. I believe that true clinical success rests on three inseparable pillars: resilience, trust, and accessibility. My academic foundation is rooted in evidence-based practice. For my undergraduate thesis, I investigated motor imagery techniques for upper limb rehabilitation in middle cerebral artery (MCA) stroke patients. Conducting this neuroplasticity research under the tight constraints of the COVID-19 pandemic demanded extreme precision and determination, permanently reinforcing my belief that true rehabilitation goes far beyond treating muscles and joints—it is about unlocking the brain's potential. In clinical rotations, my experiences reshaped how I view patient potential. Managing long-term bedridden individuals taught me that a therapist must hold a steady belief in recovery until the patient is ready to carry it themselves. Furthermore, treating fast-tracking ACL reconstruction patients and children with cerebral palsy taught me that healing timelines are merely guidelines, and progress is found in consistent, focused effort. Beyond the clinic, my work with CureBay in rural Odisha villages exposed me to the stark realities of healthcare inequality. Treating patients with long-standing, unaddressed conditions transformed my perspective. I realized that clinical expertise means little if it does not reach the people who need it most.
